The Le Mans was manufactured by GM’s Pontiac division from 1962 to 1981, and the Le Mans Sport was a premium performance trim level of this intermediate-sized muscle car as of 1970, second only to the GTO, with which it shared most interior features.

This four-seater RWD coupe was constructed using GM’s stalwart A-body platform. 1970 brought some notable exterior developments to the Le Mans, including Firebird inspired front bumpers, wrap-around tail lights, and creased body lines on the fenders and quarter panels.
