The W212 E63 AMG production stretched 2010-2017 and various model updates/face lifts occurred over this period. Most notable is the change in engine package occurring in 2011 from the 6.2L V8 to the M157 5.5L V8. An "S" model was introduced later which increased power along with other subtle updates. Later models were also offered with Mercedes 4Matic all-wheel-drive system.
