Scirocco 2nd Gen.
The second generation of the Volkswagen Scirocco was internally designated the Typ 53B. The Typ 53B is a front engine, front wheel drive, sport compact hatchback produced by the German manufacturer from 1981 to 1992. Powered by an inline-4 cylinder engine with 1.3 to 1.8 litre displacements, and with a chassis based on the Volkswagen Group A1 platform, a multitude of trim levels existed - including the L, CL, GL, LS, GLS, GLI, GT, GTI, GTL, GTS, GTX, GT II, Scala, GT 16V and GTX 16V.
