The 944 came in many variations including but not limited to the base 944, 944S, 944 S2, 944 S4, 944 Turbo, 944 Turbo S. The 944 chassis also had a cabriolet variation and transmission selection had two options to choose from including a 5-speed manual or a 3-speed automatic. The 944 chassis was produced between 1982-1991.
