Charger

The Dodge Charger made its debut in 1966 as a fastback on the B-Body platform. Although the initial design saw limited sales, the Hemi model stood out for its impressive performance. The Charger gained significant popularity with its second generation, thanks in part to its exposure in NASCAR and its iconic role as the General Lee in the TV series The Dukes of Hazzard. The front-wheel-drive L-Body Chargers of the 1980s have recently experienced a resurgence in popularity. In 2006, Dodge reintroduced the Charger as a sedan, which has enjoyed tremendous sales success, particularly with the high-performance SRT and Hellcat variants.
