Built on the Impreza platform with a high roof wagon body style, the high-performance Subaru Forester STi incorporates many of the components from the WRX STi. It is powered by a 2.5L DOHC turbocharged boxer flat-four mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The STi employs a larger intercooler, a low-back-pressure exhaust system, upgraded sport springs, revised struts and shock absorbers, large anti-roll bars, and a cross-member brace over the standard Forester, with a 1.2” lower ride height and quick ratio steering.
