The BMW E36 is the third generation of the BMW 3 Series produced by the German manufacturer from 1990 to 2000. Available in a range of body styles and drive trains, the E36 marked the introduction of the use of multi-link rear suspension on 3 Series cars, and was listed on Car and Driver’s 10 Best list throughout its production run.
