The RX-8 is a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive, rotary engine-powered sports car produced by the Japanese automaker Mazda from 2002 to 2012.  It is the successor to the Mazda RX-7. The RX-8 is a four-door four-seater quad coupe with suicide doors and a near 50:50 weight distribution.
