For the North American market, there was 274 Fire-orange cars sold. 200 of these were designated to the Limerock park edition cars so this example is 1 of the 74 that were specially ordered with BMW individual Fire-Orange paint. Further, only 23 were allocated to Canada for this special paint, so it is one of 23 for the Canadian market. Making this example particularly special is that the original owner spec’d it with Individual Black Chrome Kidney Grills, Side Vent Grills, and black-chrome Exhaust Tips. With this combination, this M3 is likely 1/1 in this exact specification.

The M3 also showcases Shadowline trim and adaptive xenon headlights. It is equipped with rain-sensing wipers, a carbon-fiber roof panel, a trunk lid spoiler, rear parking sensors, and quadruple exhaust outlets, adding to its aesthetic appeal and performance.

The Competition package that was equipped on this M3 includes forged 19″ Style 359 wheels which have been mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires measuring 245/35 up front and 265/35 at the rear. These wheels were spec'd in gloss black when new.

In contrast to the Lime-Rock Park edition, which may be mistaken for this example, the LRP cars featured a plastic center console plaque indicating the car's unique number out of the 200 and a fake-suede wrapped steering wheel. However, with this specific fire-orange car, because it is not an LRP edition, the original buyer had the option to choose and upgrade the interior. In this case it was optioned with extended leather and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, enhancing its exclusivity.

The heated power-adjustable front sport seats are covered in black Novillo leather, complemented by Carbon Structure Leather trim on the dashboard and doors. The car is equipped with various amenities, including iDrive infotainment, navigation, Comfort Access keyless entry, a CD stereo, a power rear sunshade, dual-zone automatic climate control, and cruise control. The multi-function steering wheel incorporates paddle shifters and tri-color stitching, surrounding an M-branded tachometer, a 330-kph speedometer, a central information display, and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer displays a mileage of 76k kilometers or 47k miles.

The Competition Package comprises a suspension lowered by 10mm, updated programming for the Dynamic Stability Control and Electronic Damping Control systems. The 4.0-liter S65 V8 engine incorporates double-VANOS variable valve timing and was initially rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive is facilitated by a seven-speed M-DCT dual-clutch transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock.

Regular servicing can be seen from the included records in the documents section and notably the throttle actuators were replaced at 68k-kms and covered under warranty at an est. $3k CAD cost.
