Blog: ‘69 Chevelle Lookin For Love

This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle is being offered for $17,500 (or for trade with a Regal, Bronco, Ramcharger, or heavy equipment) by a seller in Lethbridge, AB with 70,000 kms on the odometer.

Originally finished in Fathom Green, this stripped down hardtop coupe has the long hood, short deck, fastback profile that became a totem of late Sixties American muscle. Quad headlamps, a rounded beltline, and a high “kickup” at the rear-quarter complete the look of the second generation Chevelle.

Produced by General Motors from 1964 to 1978, the Chevrolet Chevelle was constructed using GM’s A-body platform, and became one of Chevrolet’s most successful nameplates, exemplary of America’s auto industry, before the economic challenges of the late 1970’s and early 1980’s set in.

This ‘69 Chevelle has a Medium Green interior with all-vinyl bucket seats and an aftermarket instrument cluster.

The seller has performed a mild build of the engine with a small block 350 and rebuilt the transmission with a Richmond Super T-10 4-speed countershaft helical gear transmission synchronised in all forward gears.
