This 1978 GMC Sierra Classic Camper Special is being offered by a seller in Salt Spring Island, BC for $10,000. This all original square body is finished in Light Blue (paint code #9151) over a blue interior. Several spare parts such as a heavy duty rear bumper with a hitch, a spare tailgate, alternate springs and exhaust manifold, and a new fuel pump are included in the sale. 

The seller offers his truck as a great restoration opportunity, and mentions some issues such as front cab mounts and tailgate needing replacement, and the engine smoking slightly on startup, but confirms that the truck starts and runs and has been used by the seller as a reliable daily driver.

The long 8.5 foot box on the Camper Special is built to accommodate a slide-in camper, and provides tie-down mounting points on the bed sides as well as a wiring harness, extended camper mirrors, and a heavy-duty front stabiliser bar. The egg crate grill and front bumper are chrome.

This classic 4x4 square body Chevy is powered by a 350 cubic inch V8 with a 4 barrel carburetor, paired to a 4-speed manual transmission.
