Western Mopar Madness 2024
On July 27, 2024, the unmistakable scents of burning rubber, raw gasoline, and high-octane race fuel filled the air at RAD Torque Raceway as the annual Western Mopar Madness roared to life. Mopars of all kinds filled the grounds, showcasing a stunning array of Chrysler products from various generations. From six-figure muscle cars to fully built race machines, the event was a true celebration of American automotive engineering, even attracting a few notable automotive celebrities.

The Western Mopar Madness event is one of the most eagerly anticipated gatherings for Mopar enthusiasts. It offers a blend of traditional show-and-shine displays, where gleaming vehicles filled the drag racing pit parking area, and a track day featuring multiple classes of Mopar muscle cars competing down the quarter-mile drag strip.

The show was a feast for the eyes, with pristine examples of Chrysler Corporation's most iconic automobiles. Event coordinators thoughtfully grouped each platform together, separating them from other Mopar models, and even designated a special section for “Specialty Vehicles,” including a pair of Mopar Winged Warriors and a Valiant Charger imported from Australia.

Adding to the excitement, a well-known figure in the automotive world made an appearance. Mike Hall of Rust Valley Restorers stopped by to visit, selling shirts and greeting fans with his gravelly voice and lighthearted charm. Mike was in the midst of a cross-Canada journey from B.C. to the East Coast, aiming to connect with as many fans and enthusiasts as possible along the way.

The 2024 Western Mopar Madness was a resounding success. From the heart-pounding drag races to the shimmering paint of the show-and-shine, it was a spectacular showcase of Chrysler Corporation’s finest creations. I’m already looking forward to next year’s event and can’t wait to see what rare machines will make an appearance!
