34th Annual Northern Mopars Show & Shine

On Saturday, August 17th, 2024, I made my way to Capitol Hill Community Centre, a venue that once regularly bustled with classic cars, hosting multiple Show and Shines. In recent years, however, only one show has remained — the annual Northern Mopars Show & Shine

This year’s event marked the third Mopar-centric show I attended in 2024, and it would also be the last I could make for the year. Over one hundred Mopars gathered for the occasion, with the majority showcasing vintage models from the twentieth century.

As in previous years, there was an impressive array of Lil' Red Express trucks on display. While the numbers didn’t quite match last year's remarkable turnout, the exhibition remained a terrific showcase of these iconic performance trucks. Alongside them, dozens of classic American muscle cars from the late '60s to early '70s—the golden era of Mopar performance—were on full display.

The 34th annual Northern Mopars Show & Shine was truly a delight to attend. Every year, more than a hundred top-notch Mopar automobiles grace the Capitol Hill Community Centre, their vibrant colors gleaming under the sun. It’s a stunning celebration of Chrysler’s legacy, both past and present.

Until the next time I see you guys, get wrenching, get driving, and keep these classics alive!
