On August 10, 2024, I attended two show and shines filled with hundreds of classic and special interest vehicles at each event. I began the day at the August Heat 2024 Mopar show in Red Deer, and then made my way to Bentley, Alberta, to experience the beloved Kruzin West show and shine.

This was my first time attending the iconic event in over half a decade. Set along the railroad tracks in Bentley, the venue provided a stunning backdrop for the automobiles on display, featuring the town's grain elevator, greenery along the adjacent roadway, and the occasional passing locomotive.

The show featured over 150 unique automobiles, from patina’d hot rods to a Superbird replica, built on a Plymouth Satellite convertible as the foundation of this custom resto-mod. A variety of unique collector cars were scattered throughout the event, offering something for every enthusiast.

With over 150 classic and special interest vehicles on display, the Bentley Kruzin West show and shine was a true highlight. From one-off custom builds to a pristinely restored ambulance, this show remains a must-see for anyone in the Red Deer area.
