A seller in Calgary, AB has put this 2001 BMW Dinan-tuned M5 in LeMans Blue up for sale for $75,000 with 215,000 kms. Auto tuner Steve Dinan increases the horsepower and torque on these classic BMW’s without using a turbo or supercharger. With just 100 Dinan-licensed BMW dealers, this is a rare sanctioned rebuild. 

The exterior on this M5 is fully paint protected and it has new Hella lights all around, with tinted windows and smoked taillights. It has a carbon fibre spoiler and diffuser, 18” BBS wheels, and staggered Michelin Sport tires. 

Extensive maintenance has been performed by Calgary’s Motorwerks, including updates to the suspension, cooling system, and clutch. 

The M5’s interior sports a new OEM wheel and shifter. Bluetooth and Sirius XM have been retrofitted to the head unit. 

The M5’s V8 has four cams, variable valve timing, 32 valves, an aluminium block, and eight electronically controlled throttle bodies, achieving 390 horsepower. Coupled with a 6-speed manual and a Dinan engine tune, which involves boring out the throttle bodies, improving the airboxes, adding a new, lighter exhaust system, lightening the flywheel, and re-programming the ECU, this M5 is sure to be a force to be reckoned with.
